This evening I got to playing around with Google Calendar again, which is always a fun treat. It really appeals to me because it's built to be such a flexible, re-distributable container of data. In the last 30 minutes I built up a new calendar of Civil War Reenacting events (yes, it's a hobby of mine). I pulled in almost all of the information from Florida Reenactors Online. I'll try to get the complete roster in there soon enough. But what I've got is complete as far as my own participation might go. For some reason I not able to embed the calendar, which I should be able to do easily thanks to the Google Embeddable Calendar Helper. Who knew that existed? Anyway, I think my Mango Blog UI is trimming out the code when I try to save it. This makes hulk angry.
